1 MinuteEvangelism Challenge

GOSPEL GUY: Hello, can we talk?

OTHER GUY/GAL: SURE

GG: Do you know much about the Bible, The ten commandments, for example?

OG: OH YES, I DON’T REALLY GO TO CHURCH ANYMORE THOUGH SO….

GG: ~well, Jesus comes to change the world, to give you freedom and He says to the law dogs:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

This is the great first commandment. And the second is like it:

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ~Matthew 22:36-40, Mark 12:28-31 ESV

OG: WHO IS JESUS?

GG: “Who? being in very nature (Son of) God,
   did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
   by taking the very nature of a servant,
   being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
   he humbled himself
   by becoming obedient to death—
       even death on a cross!”~Philippians 2:6-8 NIV

OG: BEING GOD, HE DIES? ON THE CROSS? WHY?

GG: You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.

 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,

Christ died for us. ~Romans 5:6-8 NIV

OG: JESUS DIED FOR ME?

GG: just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners,

so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus) the many will be made righteous; (Romans 5:19 NIV),

given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. (Romans 3:22 NIV)

GG: You have to just believe Jesus died for you, and say you believe in Him;

And say out loud to God “Thank you Jesus, I want to be free, I want to receive your Holy Spirit,

and I want to know you better!”
